FAQ
Short answers about the beta, your data and how to get in touch.
Is a download available?
Not yet. The first beta build will be offered on the Download page once it is signed and notarized.
How stable is the beta?
Each beta build is checked before it is published, but it is still beta software: expect bugs, unfinished screens and changes between builds. Keep your own backup of datasets you care about.
Is my data safe in the beta?
Your projects, images and captions stay in folders on your Mac, and the app does not upload them on its own. Cloud training in the beta is simulated. As with any beta software, keep a backup of important work.
How do I give feedback or report a bug?
Use the contact on the Support page; the address is published with the first beta build. Include the app version, your macOS version and the steps that lead to the problem, and remove personal paths, images and keys from any logs.
How often is the beta updated?
There is no fixed schedule. A new beta build is published when a set of fixes is ready and has passed its checks. Each one gets a version number and release notes on the Download page.
Do I need an account?
No. Account features are optional and not yet available; local workflows work without signing in.
Does demo mode spend GPU credits?
No. It uses simulated data and does not submit a real cloud training job.
Does it support RunPod?
The app includes RunPod-related workflows. In the beta, training is simulated; live-service checks are still pending. Skye Desk is an independent product.
Will there be an Intel version?
Apple Silicon and Intel are planned. Universal-package validation is still pending.
