The terms for using skyedesk.app and the Skye Desk app.
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Skye Chiu (“we”, “us”) for using skyedesk.app and the Skye Desk app. By using them you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. Contact: support@skyedesk.app.
Public beta
Skye Desk is in public beta. Beta builds may contain bugs, may change or remove features between builds, and may stop working until updated. Keep your own backups of datasets and other work you care about. Features marked “coming soon” or “demo mode” are not, or not fully, available.
Using Skye Desk
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use the beta builds we publish on skyedesk.app. You may not resell them, remove notices, or reverse engineer them except where the law allows. Any paid offering will be described, with its price and terms, before you buy.
Your content
Your datasets, captions, models and outputs remain yours, and you are responsible for having the rights to use and train on them. Do not use Skye Desk with content you are not authorised to use, or to create unlawful material.
Third-party services
Skye Desk can work with services run by others, such as GPU cloud providers. Those services have their own terms and charges, which apply between you and them. Cost estimates shown in Skye Desk are estimates, not invoices. Skye Desk is not affiliated with or endorsed by RunPod, Google, GitHub, Apple or Supabase.
Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Skye Desk without any obligation to you.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the website and beta builds are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or cloud charges arising from your use of the beta. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if any. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Ending use
You can stop using Skye Desk at any time. We may suspend or end access to beta builds or the website, for example to protect users or comply with the law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; we will post changes here and update the effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Skye Chiu is established, without removing mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
